The difference in what capture interval you use for your project, will affect your time lapse video visually. The shorter time in between photos gives you a more detailed observation of the subtle changes. For longer projects, we suggest a larger capture interval rate in between photos. Please refer to the table below* to understand how to choose the best capture interval according to your project length.

Schedule setting on a time lapse camera plays a significant role when dealing with long-term project shooting. The daily schedule allows the camera to work at specific times such as 08:00am - 5:00pm or 09:00 am - 9:00pm etc, it’s adaptable. The camera will remain asleep for the rest of the hours of the day so as to not fill your videos up with unneeded images. You can also choose to have your camera only take photos on specific days of the week, such as Monday to Friday etc. so again, you don’t fill up your video with images from the weekend when no one is at the jobsite.
